Cengiz Genç, Türkiye’nin millî hafızasına, devlet aklına ve Türk dünyası vizyonuna yaklaşık kırk yıldır katkı sunan bir araştırmacı-yazar ve strateji uzmanıdır. Güvenlik, jeopolitik, enerji politikaları, toplumsal dönüşüm, devlet stratejisi ve Türk dünyası alanlarında belge temelli çalışmalarıyla tanınır.
Devlet kurumlarında edindiği uzun yıllara dayanan tecrübe, uluslararası sahadaki görevleri ve araştırmacı-yazar kimliği onu Türkiye’nin stratejik düşünce dünyasında özgün bir yere taşımaktadır.
1991 yılında merhum Alparslan Türkeş’in doğrudan referansı ve Azerbaycan Cumhurbaşkanı Ebulfez Elçibey’in resmî davetiyle Azerbaycan’ın bağımsızlık sürecine askerî-siyasi başdanışman olarak katkı sunmuş; yeni devlet yapılanmasının ilk yıllarında stratejik yol haritalarının hazırlanmasında aktif rol üstlenmiştir.
Kıbrıs Barış Harekâtı gazisi olan Genç, gazilik kimliğini düşünce dünyasının merkezine yerleştirmiştir. Ona göre gazilik bir ünvan değil; vatan sevgisinin, sadakatin ve milletin bekasına adanmışlığın en yüksek ifadesidir.
2005 yılında yayımlanan “Orta Doğu’da Muhtemel Gelişmeler Karşısında Türkiye’nin İmkânları” adlı eseri, Türkiye’nin bölgesel güvenlik mimarisi açısından erken dönem stratejik bir çalışmadır.
Bugün “Genç Haberler” platformunun kurucusu ve başyazarı olarak, millî değerleri esas alan analitik ve stratejik bir yayın çizgisi sürdürmektedir.

Cengiz Genc is a researcher, author and strategy expert who has contributed to Turkey’s national memory, state awareness and Turkic World vision for nearly forty years. He is known for his document-based work on security, geopolitics, energy policies, social transformation and state strategy.
His long public service record and international advisory roles have placed him in a distinct position in Turkey’s strategic intellectual community.
In 1991, by the direct reference of Alparslan Türkeş and the official invitation of Azerbaijani President Abulfaz Elchibey, he served as a military and political advisor during Azerbaijan’s independence process.
As a veteran of the Cyprus Peace Operation, he does not regard veteranhood as a title but as the ultimate expression of patriotism, loyalty, and dedication.
His book “Turkey’s Opportunities in the Face of Possible Developments in the Middle East” published in 2005, remains an important early strategic work.
He is currently the founder and editor-in-chief of Genc Haberler, maintaining a national-based analytical publishing line.

For nearly forty years, Researcher-Author Cengiz Genç has contributed to Türkiye’s national memory, statecraft and the vision of the Turkic world. He is recognized for his document-based work in security, geopolitics, energy policies, social transformation, state strategy and Turkic world studies. His long service in public institutions, combined with field experience and academic background, has positioned him as a distinct strategic thinker in Türkiye’s intellectual landscape.
In 1991, upon the direct reference of the late Alparslan Türkeş and by the official invitation of Ebulfez Elchibey, Genç contributed to Azerbaijan’s independence process as a military and political chief advisor. In the early years of the new state, he played an active role in shaping strategic roadmaps, a period that significantly strengthened his vision of the Turkic world and understanding of state reason.
As a veteran of the Cyprus Peace Operation, Genç places his veteran identity at the center of his worldview. For him, veteranhood is not a title but the ultimate symbol of devotion to the homeland, loyalty, and dedication to the survival of the nation.
